There is something about participating in swaps that make me feel connected to others. I love being able to send a little something from my little X on the map to someone else and then receiving something from someone else’s neck of the woods. It’s like traveling without the cost of airfare and having to wash dirty laundry. (Well, almost)
So I have decided to participate in the Summer Swap at The Simple Woman.
Once you ’sign up’ (see the post for all of the instructions) and are assigned your swap partner, you will choose three items to send to them. A new something, a gently used something from home that you would like to share, and something from a thrift, goodwill or yard sale that is lovely and says, “SUMMER”. Not too hard.
Don’t forget to read the fine print about how much to spend and all of the relevant dates.
